So I was wondering, is it or will it be possible to mod in new types of furniture, like different desks or windows, or if I wanted to add a food cart for refreshments instead of a fridge? Or will modding be restricted to xml values?

I have thought about furniture modding before, don't know why I never added it to Trello. I'll need to add some 3D model loading code, which shouldn't be too hard, and I probably won't be able to support animations.

I found a thread the other day on how to allow for C# scripting in Unity games without adding too many vulnerabilities and cheating, possibly the same way Cities Skylines does it. If I have time during Beta I could add custom behaviors to furniture as well, but for now you'd have to do with the built-in furniture types for custom furniture.

I can't enable modding doors and windows since there's some specific room inside/outside mesh/UV merging code going on that'll be hard to support.

I'll be honest Khornel, I'd love to see this in the game.
If you get the time to do it, please try to.
