So I have made my new software and successfully inserted it into the software types folder, this is what the mod looks like:

<SoftwareType>
   <Name>Software Remover</Name>
   <Description>Removes all of the uneeded software, very helpful.</Description>
   <Random>0.2</Random>
   <Popularity>1</Popularity>
   <OSSpecific>True</OSSpecific>
   <OneClient>False</OneClient>
   <InHouse>True</InHouse>
   <Category>System</Category>
   <NameGenerator>Compiler</NameGenerator>
   <Needs></Needs>
   <Features>
      <Feature Forced="True">
         <Name>SpeedBoost</Name>
         <Description>Ups the speed of the removal tool</Description>
         <Category>System</Category>
         <DevTime>3</DevTime>
         <Innovation>0</Innovation>
         <Usability>2</Usability>
         <Stability>1</Stability>
         <CodeArt>1</CodeArt>
         <Server>#</Server>
         <Dependencies></Dependencies>
      </Feature>
      <Feature Forced="False">
         <Name>Root Cleaner</Name
         <Description>Cleans out all of the roots, and your whole computer.</Description>
         <Category>System</Category>
         <DevTime>5<DevTime>
         <Innovation>0</Innovation>
         <Usability>3</Usability>
         <Stability>1</Stability>
         <CodeArt>1</CodeArt>
         <Server>#<Server>
         <Dependencies></Dependencies>
      </Feature>
   </Features>
</SoftwareType>

but whenever I go into the game, it says:

Error loading more software: failed parsing xml node name, missing ending of tag

[localization not loaded]

please help!

I suggest using tools such as http://www.xmlvalidation.com/ to easily find errors in XML.

If you paste in the code, then press Validate, you will get an error message on the top saying:
Click on to jump to the error. In the document, you can point at with your mouse to see the error message.
Errors in the XML document:
   27:   10   The end-tag for element type "Name" must end with a '>' delimiter.

I'm here to help, preferably by topics so people can easier
find with Google. But also through PM. I'm your friend ^-^!
( If you are nice to me c: )
