Title: How to install a mod
Post by: amensch on July 27, 2015, 10:30:34 AM
Hey everyone!

I'm going to explain you how to install a mod.

1. Download a mod (ex.: http://softwareinc.coredumping.com/forum/index.php?topic=245.0 (http://softwareinc.coredumping.com/forum/index.php?topic=245.0))

2. Extract it (If needed)

3. Open C:\Programs(x86)\Steam\SteamApps\Common\Software Inc.\Mods

4. Copy the whole folder of the mod into it (ex.: (http://i.imgur.com/sOmRZp7.png))

5. To play with it, you have to enable it when you start a new game. In the bottom-right corner you can enable it!

6. Enjoy!

PS.:  If you're installing a mod on a Mac, Press Option + Go (on Finder menu bar), then click Library -> Application Support -> Steam -> SteamApps -> common -> SoftWare Inc -> Mods  (thanks to @jrlbenedict for the Mac Instructions!)

Nice guide! Before I actually didn't really have an idea of where to put mods but now... Thanks!

How do I enable a mod in SWInc 6.2?

Edit: I found it. It's available once you start a new game in the bottom right. Toggle it on! =)

Apparently I need to learn how to read(explained in step 5 above).
