Title: [SOLVED] Trouble with furniture colours
Post by: SilentSkies on July 28, 2018, 12:52:04 PM
Hi there

I've been trying for the last couple of days to implement a piece of furniture, it's nothing overly complicated just a small railing but I'm having trouble getting the colours correct.

I created the object in blender and I've exported that into my Furniture folder and I eventually got it to actually appear in game ;D, but I can't seem to get the colour correct on it. I've noticed by copying the example on the wiki that <ColorTertiaryDefault> is what is editing the colour of my object. I'm new to blender so I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong in that.

What am I doing wrong?

Why isn't <ColorPrimaryDefault> defining the colour of my object?

When I remove any reference to Tertiary it just becomes a black object with primary and secondary doing nothing.

I grabbed the colours from the example posted at the bottom of this page.

Managed to work it out although the wiki's quite ambiguous for newbies. If you're struggling like me see below...

TLDR: RTFM  ;D
